Medicare Supplement, also known as Medigap, plans are designed to help pay your share of healthcare costs under Medicare Part A and Part B. This is a fantastic no co-pay solution while allowing customization of one's Part D plan to their own specific needs. 

Medicare Advantage, also known as Part C or MAPD plans, also are designed to help pay your share of healthcare costs under Medicare Part A and Part B. This coverage type usually includes a low or $0 monthly premium while providing additional benefits such as DVH, over-the-counter allowances, and monthly Part B reimbursement opportunities. 

These Medicare Advantage plans are designed specifically for Veterans and their spouses while working in unison with VA benefits and/or TRICARE For Life. These plans most commonly include additional benefits such as dental, vision, and hearing , plus some offer a monthly Part B reimbursement of up to $148.50 per month.

Medicare Part D is prescription drug coverage. Part D is offered in a variety of ways including stand alone plans, included in a Medicare Advantage plan, as well as through your state LIS program.

 Hospital indemnity insurance is considered fixed indemnity coverage, which means that when you incur covered medical expense(s) resulting from hospitalization, surgery, chemotherapy and radiation services, your hospital indemnity plan will pay you the fixed benefit(s).

Short-Term Home Health Care Insurance can help you cover deductibles and co-payments for home health care services. It also includes a Short-Term Home Health Care Aide Benefit, a Prescription Drug Benefit, policyholder access to Ask Mayo Clinic online, and additional rider sets you have the option to choose from.
